Unemployed man sells himself... on eBay
For sale: One sales rep, good runner! Unemployed man sells himself... on eBay
An unemployed salesman who is desperate to find work yesterday put himself up for sale - on online auction site eBay.
It was when he found himself contemplating suicide last month that he
decided to place the advert 'For Sale an Experienced Sales
Representative' on eBay.
To
put it simply I am a man who has reached a point where every avenue has
been exhausted and this is a last-ditch attempt to get an employer's
attention.
His tongue-in-cheek advert reads: 'For Sale an Experienced Sales
Representative' and describes him as a 1965 model who is 'enthusiastic'
and 'motivated'.
The ad goes on that he comes with 25 years' of sales experience
covering a wide product base, is 'IT, PC and web literate' and is
looking for offers of £35,000.
(The unemployed are getting creative across the pond)

Re: Unemployed man sells himself... on eBay
Maybe we should be doing this? It is good advertisement. I have a feeling that ebay will have millions of 99ers listed.

Thats why I put it under "Guerilla Job search" , it seems extreme but the poor guy still hasn't got a job. I give him an A+++ for creativity tho.
