4 companies awarded NM job training funds
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (AP) - Schott Solar and two
other engineering and manufacturing companies have been awarded more
than $250,000 in state funds to help with the hiring and training of 31
workers.The funds come from the state's Job Training Incentive Program.Schott's photovoltaic manufacturing operation
will use the funds for the development of 2 new jobs, and five new jobs
are planned in its concentrated solar power operation.Array Technologies, Inc. plans four new jobs and Poly-Flow Engineering, LLC will use its share for 20 new jobs.The wages for the new jobs range from more than $21 an hour to $42 an hour.
